Hiking club software that handles the trailhead.
Waivers signed, emergency contacts on file, gear checked out, weather watched, carpools matched. You pick the trail.
Quarry Rock at sunrise
hey team — quarry rock at sunrise this saturday. meeting at the quarry rock trailhead for sat · 6:30 am.
it's a moderate 4.6 km loop, ~90 min round trip. headlamp optional, coffee mandatory.
waivers are signed for all but two — i've sent them the link. 14 of you are in already; rsvp closes friday 9 pm.
Outdoor hosting, fully handled.
The parts of mink that hiking clubs lean on most, in the order they tend to matter.
Versioned waiver text, e-signed at registration, with a validity clock (365 days by default) that prompts renewal. Unsigned members are blocked from joining server-side — not just hidden in the UI.
Emergency contact, relationship, medical conditions, blood type, and dietary restrictions collected on each hike's registration. Organisers get a day-of roster view and a CSV export for whoever leads the hike.
Poles, tents, bear spray, radios — tracked with quantities, optional per-day fees, and approval-gated checkout. Request, approve, check out, return with condition notes; availability keeps itself current.
Ask your agent to map the route through its waypoints. It draws on the event map with start and finish markers, adds the checkpoints you name, reports distance and estimated time, and gives members a GPX to download.
Drivers offer seats, passengers request them, and mink works out the split — total trip cost, cost per kilometre, per-rider share, and pickup points.
One recurrence rule sets the cadence, default start time, duration, location, and attendee cap. mink materialises each occurrence; skip a week with an exception date.
mink watches the forecast and warns you ahead of the event, alongside event-day briefings and low-attendance alerts, so a call-off decision never arrives at the trailhead.
Trailhead check-in by QR, feeding attendance stats per member so you know who actually showed versus who RSVP'd.
Everything else comes with it.
Nothing above is an add-on tier of its own — it's the same platform every club on mink gets.
